Luchita's Description:
This dimly lit former tavern is overseen by Mama Luchita Galindo, who cooks foods of Northern Mexico and her hometown, Mexico City. There are no frills here, but the food is tasty and the service is warm and friendly. We suggest starting with the queso fundido, chorizo, onions, tomatoes, hot peppers and gooey cheddar and jack cheeses served in a ceramic crock. Main courses change frequently to take advantage of the seasons, but favorites include the chiles rellenos and a shredded beef burrito. Luchita's drink list includes margaritas (by the glass or pitcher), a full selection of Mexican beers and pitchers of refreshing sangría.
