Shooters on the Water Description:
It's a summer tradition in Cleveland: go to Shooters on a sunny day, eat some fresh Lake Erie walleye or a Hawaiian chicken sandwich, have a couple of beers and wave to the yachts cruising up the Cuyahoga River. (The glass-walled restaurant on the West Flats boardwalk is situated at the mouth of the river.) In warm weather, the windows roll up to bring in the cool lake breeze. The huge, oblong bar is a handy meeting place for after-work cocktails. The food at Shooters is not the main attraction, but soups and salads, chicken, pizza, seafood and burgers are reasonably priced and serviceable. After dark, the crowd gets louder, rowdier and more in love with the bar, so take the kids earlier in the evening and enjoy the view.
