Nate's Deli and Restaurant Description:
Home to some of the city's best hummus, Nate's is a casual, comfortable storefront near the West Side Market run by Joe and Sally Maalouf. The traditional Middle Eastern dishes---falafel, gyros, baba ghanouj and the aforementioned hummus---all are done with native expertise. We suggest the tabbouleh salad; it's cold, crisp and full of tomatoes with just the right amount of mint. Homemade baklava, drizzled with cinnamon-rich, honey-flavored syrup, is the best bet for dessert.
