The casual, stark simplicity of Milk & Honey Café is precisely what makes it so appealing. Expect a roster of sandwiches, salads, daily soups and the like. You will find that a sandwich here is a lot more than something stuffed between two slices of bread. The grilled panino made with capocollo, provolone and tomato is stacked with good stuff, the bread grilled just right. You might do well to split one of the creative salads with your sandwich; we lean toward the bean salad made with cannellini, chips of ham, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh sage. The clean, contemporary setting, which is outfitted with a fireplace, also is as good a place to savor the signature granola as more substantial specials (try the lamb stew with apricots and couscous if it's available).
