What began as an antiques shop blossomed into a local empire with lines out the door at many locations. The reason: toasted sandwiches with high-quality lunchmeat. Honest-to-goodness-addictive is the Italian on a crisp-baked roll, but the Wreck (stuffed with roast beef) and the fine chicken salad aren't half-bad either. But remember the hot peppers---they're requisite. And don't forget to check out the sub-themed salads with premium toppings and sweetly tangy house vinaigrette.
