Original Frances' Deli Description:
This big bustling deli---at one location or another---has been feeding Northsiders for decades. And it remains a real three-meals-a-day food emporium. The omelets at breakfast are bold, beautiful and varied; the triple-decker sandwiches rise high above the plate (we particularly like the turkey club); and the salads are sane and simple. Among the mostly meat dinner choices, there are two in particular that we dote on: the pork tenderloin cutlet and the baked meatloaf. Dinners come with a choice of three side dishes (soup and salad among them), and the options go on for miles: potato pancake, cranberry sauce, stuffing and real homemade mashed potatoes.
