Manny's Coffee Shop and Deli Description:
Manny's is the quintessential deli: buzzing, big and loaded with people of all sorts. (It's even rumored to be a hometown fave of President Obama.) Grab a plastic tray (shake off the water from the dishwasher) and head down the food-service line. From the steam table to soft drinks, it's loaded with enough to seduce. The chicken soup with matzoh ball or kreplach is one of the best in town. Corned beef, chopped liver, tongue, brisket and pastrami barely make a dent in the sandwich selection. Daily specials will take you to deli nirvana. Oxtail stew, gefilte fish, beef stew, liver and onions, meatloaf...the selection is amazing, and it all tastes good. For dinner, look for even heartier meals like short ribs and corned beef and cabbage. Also located at Midway Airport's Concourse A.
