Johnny O'Hagan's Description:
This is as traditional an Irish pub as you will find anywhere in town with its spacious bar, comfortable dining room and enormous fireplace. We are particularly fond of the Irish fare here, including a fine potato leek soup and comforting shepherd's pie. Then there's the Kilkenny Irish Fry (a.k.a. Irish breakfast), a platter of plenty with bangers, Irish bacon, potatoes, black and white pudding and eggs. Of course, you can't go wrong with an order of fish 'n' chips. Sometimes the place opens early for televised games.
