Heaven on Seven Description:
Formerly known as the Garland Building Restaurant, this place was once a coffee shop that catered to the people in the building. But that was then. Now, this is a full-blown restaurant with long lines for a lunch table. "What are these people waiting for?" one might ask. Just some of the best Cajun and Creole food in the city---that's what. The Cajun-fried chicken salad with jalapeño jelly is a must-eat, as is the twelve-pepper voodoo pasta and jambalaya. And the gumbo, made with andouille sausage shipped in from Louisiana, has to be the best there is north of the Big Easy. Be sure to ask for one of the jalapeño-zapped corn muffins on the side. Dinner is served on one Friday monthly.
