Storefront restaurant offers an all-vegetarian menu (almost all items are vegan) with organically produced ingredients and accompaniments.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis except for Thanksgiving, when the restaurant offers several sittings of a vegan feast (reservations are required).
The burgers are grain-burgers and the Reuben sandwich is made with grilled tempeh, onion, zucchini, peppers, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. The chili is chock-full of beans and veggies. That's the way it goes at this casual, laid-back vegetarian diner, so don't ask for meatloaf (or expect to get the real thing if you do). The soups are first-rate, the salads very creative. Be sure to check out the seasonal menu and the specials, which emphasize raw food. You may find a take on lasagna with zucchini and portobello mushrooms. Beer, organic vegan wines and organic vodka cocktails are available. There is a gluten-free menu, too.
