This small combination bakery-pastry shop-café is a busy place at lunchtime and on weekends. It's understandable: Fresh flowers and white tablecloths make for a charming and pleasant noontime sojourn. The menu features light Continental fare---pasta, salads, Brie and tuna salad croissant sandwiches, potpies, soups and all sorts of seasonal dishes. During dinner, expect to find heartier fare like wild mushroom ravioli, jerk-spiced chicken and panko-crusted tilapia. Tortes, cheesecakes and fruit tarts come by the slice or whole; try the Selmarie torte and the German-style cheesecakes. Everything is made fresh. The espresso and cappuccino is quite fine, too.
