Bandera Description:
This address on Michigan Avenue might seem like an unlikely location for what is pretty much a sandwich place, but many restaurants have tried in this space and failed---except this one. There's a reason, we think, starting with the quite good house-ground burger. Bangers and mash is really the dish to order, though. You'll also find more creative fare like sliced leg of lamb with red chile sauce and cucumber salad. Do keep an eye out for the pies, which are solid.
