Bacchanalia Description:
Small yet mighty, this is old-world Italian cooking at its red-sauce best---most of the time, at least. This place has been around since, well, what seems like forever. Regulars think there's nothing quite like it, but many first-time eaters wonder what all the fuss is about. Nevertheless, the chicken Vesuvio is quite good, and so is the homemade manicotti. You'll find all the classics, really---like caprese salad, baked clams and spaghetti bolognese---all served in a setting that is borderline living room. The service, accordingly, is neighborhood laid-back.
