This warhorse remains one of the most popular weekend breakfast spots in town. In addition to good eggs and omelets, stars include feather-light Swedish pancakes with tart-sweet lingonberry sauce, dynamite waffles and french toast served with peach compote. Then there are the homemade baked goods: cinnamon rolls, biscuits, muffins and Swedish limpa. The breads of the day are usually quite good, too. Swedish standards with American touches comprise the lunch menu.
