Brazas Brazilian Grill Description:
Meat lovers alert: The rodizio (the name for this Brazilian beef---and more---bonanza) serves up skewer after skewer laden with beef, lamb, chicken and quail, as waitstaff slice the meats non-stop until you say stop. Inspired by the campfire dinners of South American gauchos (cowboys), who grilled their meals over open flames, this is as much a cultural as it is a culinary experience. For one price, patrons get as much meat as they can eat, a salad bar (plenty of greens, cheeses, vegetables and more) and a hot bar with side dishes of rice, pasta and vegetables, making it a good place for vegetarians to dine with their omnivore friends. Even if you're full after all that, the desserts will tempt. In addition, you may order à la carte. For all that food, the $24.95 price tag ($2 more on weekends, when even more meats make the rounds) seems a bargain. Children ages 3 to 12 dine for half price, making this a good way to introduce to them another culture and cuisine---one that even the fussiest little diner will enjoy.
