This attractive restaurant with its ultra-modern décor is a sort of pioneer: it offers both Thai food and a limited Japanese menu. Want raw fish? Sample the Grand Thai special rolls, from the ubiquitous dragon roll (that elongated stretch of rice interspersed with pieces of raw fish) to maki sushi and sushi platters. On the other hand, if you opt for spicier fare, you can scan through the rather lengthy menu, though if you favor Thai food, you may find its offerings somewhat Westernized. The flavor of the grilled beef salad is lacking while the crispy duck with string beans is much more on the mark.
