Olde Hearth sets up a table every Saturday at the Winter Park Farmers Market to sell its artisan breads, all hand-shaped and baked on stone in a modern-day version of the ovens found in the old abbeys of France, Italy and Spain. The beautiful, hand-formed loaves have a hearty, crisp crust and amazing flavor, the work of master baker Shannon Talty. Nine varieties of breads compete for shelf space with an array of pastries including brownies, chocolate croissants, scones and danish. Mornings the place gets busy with regulars stopping by for espresso or a latte. For a quick bite, there's no better spot.
