Frank's Steak House Description:
This place has been around longer than any other chop shop in greater Boston---since 1938, to be precise. The atmosphere is seedy enough to evoke a casino lounge, complete with Keno; kitschy enough to reel in hipsters as well as their grandparents; and friendly enough to keep them all coming back. Like most decent steakhouses, Frank's does a few things very well, most things merely competently. Go for the affordable sirloin, decadent onion loaf, or the thick, sweet pork chop like your crazy bachelor uncle used to make---and throw in the cheapest wine by the bottle you're likely to find in these parts. It's not a dazzling dining experience by a long shot, but longevity counts for something.
