Cambridge Common Description:
With the same owners as long-lived Christopher's and the trendy West Side Lounge, both nearby, it should come as no surprise that Cambridge Common is also a fave with Harvard and Porter Square denizens. Even so, the come-as-you-are atmosphere of neon beer signs and wooden booths is all its own. And even though common wings, burgers and beer are its stock-in-trade, the Common at its best does them uncommonly well: sweet potato fries, Cajun burgers and batter-fried pickles with chipotle aïoli are as memorable as any half-hearted stab at tuna tartare. And afterwards, you can head downstairs to the Lizard Lounge to bump-and-grind the calories away.
