This small, turquoise-blue joint is a classic 50's diner---the real thing, not a re-creation like Mel's Drive-In. As at most of L.A.'s good breakfast spots, patrons line up outside on weekends, waiting for Rae's frenetic waitresses to serve them pancakes, french toast, omelets and biscuits with gravy.
