Part of the Lark Creek Restaurant Group, this eatery offers the same high level of quality, fresh local seafood, and accessibility for its diners as its sister restaurants. The bright, bustling, nautical-themed dining room features an exhibition kitchen, expansive outdoor seating, and family-friendly amenities---even a sandbox. Chef-partner Michael Dunn's decidedly New England-style menu includes Maine lobster rolls, East Coast Atlantic flounder and Dungeness crab bisque. Local seafood and oysters are sustainably sourced. Preparations are simple and all-American---created to please everyone in the family for dinner, or no-nonsense business lunchers by day. As a result, some flavors are pared down---the mild lobster bisque with brandy whipped cream is not as rich as one would expect, but the classic New England clam chowder is flavorful and comforting. We also recommend the beer-battered fish 'n' chips served with house-made tartar sauce, the grilled Pacific petrale sole with lemon-caper sauce, and Canadian arctic char---a flavorful equivalent to salmon. A la carte sides are impressive, although the "big fat buttermilk biscuit with red pepper jam" is a must.
