When you need a quick Thai fix to tie you over, Thai Village does the trick. Terra cotta tile and wall scrawlings of vineyard leaves are left over from the restaurant's former Northern Italian life. However, the menu is everything but Italian. Sure, there are all the usual Thai suspects: a reliable pad thai and green curry chicken. But the menu takes a few interesting twists and trips to other areas of Asia, offering inspired items like barbeque eel over rice, a few simple sushi rolls, Chinese-style pork steam buns, and Korean-style pork pot stickers. Craving a baked potato? You can get that too---right along with a New York steak or pork chop.
