B B King's Blues Club Description:
Stop by B.B. King's after you tour Universal Studios (it's near the entrance) for a taste of blues and old-fashioned Southern cooking. Venerable bluesman B.B. King has scored a hit with this colorful establishment; the music is the main draw, and the stage is visible from each of its three levels. The Southern food is pretty good, too. Try the gumbo with jumbo shrimp, chicken and sausage, a slab of dry-rubbed pork ribs, blackened catfish with tartar sauce or country-fried chicken breast with gravy and mashed potatoes. We also recommend the Lucille's---battered, deep-fried dill-pickle chips (named after B.B.'s guitar). Another unusual treat is the fried peanut butter and jelly. If you want to avoid the loud music, dine on the outdoor deck that overlooks the CityWalk street scene.
