Beautifully set alongside Moonstone Beach with front row views of the Pacific, this family-friendly restaurant offers lunch, dinner and Champagne Sunday brunch. Though turf options like steaks and osso buco are available, seafood is the obvious choice, from fresh salmon tacos served with a zesty chipotle tartar sauce, to cioppino made with Dungeness crab, to creamy New England-style clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl. A good choice among starters is the prawns sautéed with caramelized onions and sun-dried tomatoes, served over toasted baguette slices with a creamy pesto sauce. Of course, there is fish 'n' chips, but not the ubiquitous over-battered version; here the catch-of-the-day is coated in a light, crunchy breading and served with crispy shoestring french fries. The moderately priced wine list showcases some of the Central Coast's best wines with more than 15 by-the-glass options.
