The menu features daily specials like corn chowder or Thai-spiced salmon, as well as roasted chicken and filet mignon for bigger appetites, and creamy signature polenta dishes such as the spicy roasted vegetable ragoût or garlicky rock-shrimp versions. This ain't fancy, mind you. Hardwood floors, simple bistro tables, and a tight bar feel nostalgic and country-like. Only the wine list reveals an urbane underbelly.
