Zin Bistro Americana Description:
Zin Bistro Americana features a scenic fire lit patio, spacious bar, lounge and lakefront dining where you can relax in a plush setting, have a drink, an appetizer or enjoy the whole gastronomique experience.
Named after the Zinfandel grape, Zin Bistro Americana offers comfort food from all walks of American cuisine. Old-fashioned oysters Rockefeller appear across from relatively newfangled spicy ahi tartare on the hot and cold appetizer lists. And so it goes throughout the menu. You can have '70s-style cheese fondue or Ozies caprese salad with burrata and tomatoes. Go for classic spaghetti and meatballs, or opt for a modern lobster potpie. All of it will taste better for the beautiful lakeside view, especially if you're on the patio next to the fire pit. The inside bar, at which you can have dinner or just drinks, also has a great view of the water since it sits higher than the indoor patio tables. Servers are well trained, perhaps because the owners have so much restaurant experience. Chef Roberto Leyva and partner Moez Megji also own Moz Buddha Lounge in Agoura Hills and both Fins restaurants, one in Calabasas, the other in Westlake Village. As a bonus for fans of those seafood places, the classic Fins cioppino can be found on the Zin menu as well.
