Babs' Delta Diner Description:
Bab's is well-known throughout Northern California as (if nothing else) a perfect little rest stop off of Interstate 80 in Suisun. Opening each day at 5 a.m., the eatery caters to truckers, families and the late-night crowd as well. This spot serves up lip-smackin' pancakes, made-to-order omelets and a pork tenderloin sandwich. The biscuits and gravy are a must. The interior is friendly and the coffee and iced tea flows. Diners can also enjoy the outdoor seating and watch the boats go by in the tiny, but working, marina. Bab's fills up on weekends and there's often a short wait, but the harbor area is a fine spot to relax and peruse the view.
