Mike & Anne's Restaurant Description:
This charming, unpretentious American bistro occupies a Spanish Mission-style building in the heart of South Pas. Dark-stained, candlelit tables are squeezed into the intimate space, and others occupy a garden patio in front. Like the décor, the cooking is unfussy but hardly boring---especially at such reasonable prices. The short dinner menu might feature starters like New Zealand mussels and grilled portobello carpaccio. Entrée selections range from a big-league burger to miso-saké braised black cod. Sweet potato fries with herbed aïoli make a winning side dish. Finish off with a nice little cheese plate or warm banana bread with peanut butter cream.
