Selma's Chicago Pizzeria Description:
It seems unlikely Southern California residents would line up for a bit of Chicago cheer---but that's just what they're doing here. Co-owner Mike Phillips's grandmother, Selma, provided most of the recipes, and his father founded BJ's Pizzeria, so it's no wonder this restaurant has been a winner from day one. Selma's made-from-scratch sauces, gooey deep-dish pizzas and one-pound ravioli put typical OC pizzeria fare to shame. Besides the pizza, which is a must, we recommend Buffalo wings, toasted ravioli, garlic cheese bread, calzones or the fusilli pasta with chicken. About ten different beers are on tap, and the wine list has approximately two dozen different choices, many available by the glass.
