Steamers Description:
This seaside spot has a fantastic view, an upbeat staff, and a bar with good beer on tap (like the seasonal selection of the hoppy, full-bodied Firestone IPA). Unfortunately, of late, Steamers seems to be resting on its past laurels. Recent visits have resulted in fish tacos that needed more spice, an ahi tuna burger that needed more crunch, an over-reliance on sauces and frying, and "award-winning" chowder that was just so-so. Hopefully this sister restaurant to the F. McLintock's Saloon & Dining House in Pismo Beach can get back to its destination status.
