Le St. Germain Description:
A lively, warm and charming spot, Le St. Germain is a celebratory place, whether it's an anniversary, birthday or Bastille Day. The romantic glass-enclosed patio filled with twinkle lights and greenery is one of the best spots here for dining, but the friendly service makes any table feel special. Chef-owner Michel Despras turns out both satisfying classics and some interesting surprises. Start with wild mushroom soup or the short rib raviolis with duck foie gras and onion compote. Entrées include seared scallops with crab brandade in a coconut curry and lobster broth with tomato concassé. The menu changes seasonally, so pay particular attention to the specials. The pastry chef makes weekly specials too, which shouldn't be ignored, even though the crème brûlée and the floating island are pretty much irresistible.
