Hidden in the heart of Claremont Village is this charming little gem, operated chef-owner Linda Biscardi, who offers three pasta dishes every weeknight (the weekly-rotating selection reflects a repertoire of about fifteen wonderful dishes). They are typically simple but robustly flavored, in the best traditions of Italian cooking. The arrabbiata sauce is sufficiently spicy, in contrast to a silky cream sauce with peas. A simple olive oil-based sauce, liberally spiked with anchovies, is another winner. The prices are incredibly modest---salad included---and the cozy, rustic room is inviting. Don't expect to find an intimate table for two, but you're likely to meet some delightful locals at the long communal tables.
