Owner-manager Shanny Covey works with executive chef Shaun Behrens to adapt the already wide-ranging international menu to modern tastes and diet preferences, such as gluten-free and vegan. Old favorites abound: salmon bisque, lobster enchiladas, the big-enough-to-share rogan josh lamb curry, and Robin's chow, a hearty Asian noodle stir-fry with vegetables and your choice of tofu, chicken or prawns (ask for the spicy version). The restaurant's longtime commitment to local farmers and fresh ingredients is evidenced by daily specials such as a rich Thai potato leek soup, and seasonal updates that might feature an earthy butter leaf lettuce and wild mushroom salad and a cheesy pappardelle with heirloom squash from a nearby farm. Monthly themed prix-fixe menus range from Brazilian to African to French. We would like to see more unique by-the-glass wine options to taste with this eclectic menu, but the overall bottle selection is notable for a restaurant of this size.
