Robata Sushi Bar & Grill Description:
Robata's attractive dining room has high ceilings with floating, colorful fabric hangings. Start with some edamame (salty cooked soybeans) and a California roll---make sure to go for the fresh snow crab and not the "mock crab" seafood cake (surimi). For comfort, try the chicken soup with soba noodles. If you're a maki fan, the tempura prawn rolled in rice and seaweed and topped with grilled freshwater eel is a winner. There are five satisfying tofu options for vegetarian diners. Service is gracious.
