Its heart seems in the right place: portions skew hearty for Ravenous diners; there's an amiable bar for snappy cocktails; a tucked-away back patio to chill at lunchtime; well-chosen, often local ingredients. Guests may swoon for certain dishes: crab cakes with cilantro-ginger aïoli, tender lamb, and an ace cheeseburger tend to captivate. Unfortunately, there's inconsistency in execution.
