Pearl Dragon Description:
The owners of Lounge 217 remodeled the former House of Li into an entertainment locale. Executive chef Dave Johnson pulls together a rather simple menu. We thought the sea bass drowned in its broth. Sushi bar specials like a toasted wonton covered with monkfish liver and scallops were not as tasty as their creative attempt. A lacquered chicken (not duck) or the tangerine beef dishes are safe bets. Since this spot has the only liquor license in the area, it doubles up as a bar scene---try the ginger- and lemongrass-infused saké or the great Pearl martini.
