Little Toni's Description:
Most people would only visit this fairly nondescript neighborhood Italian restaurant on somebody's recommendation. The retro ambience includes wood paneling and candlelit tables dressed in burgundy and white linen. Little Toni's makes an excellent, cheesy pizza. We recommend the thin crust version that's evenly crisp, with bacon, onions, green peppers and sausage. There are lots of old-fashioned red-sauced pastas on the menu, including lasagna with meatballs, plus calzones stuffed with pepperoni, ricotta and mozzarella. A heavy but satisfying option is the special fettuccine with shrimp, scallops and Alfredo sauce. For a lighter meal, order the jumbo shrimp scampi stuffed with butter, garlic, herbs and white wine. Order the spumoni or cheesecake for a successful dessert.
