This little restaurant on La Canada-Flintridge's main drag, a venture of Cindy Costner, is as homey as can be: pastel-colored tables with hand-painted flowers around the borders, some sturdy furniture that might have been salvaged from Nana's garage sale and some cozy booths along the rounded perimeter. Down-home comfort cuisine is the name of the game here, including a respectable roasted chicken, creamy macaroni 'n' cheese with ham, Black Angus burger or BLT on a La Brea Bakery bun, or grilled pork chop. For breakfast, try the cornmeal johnnie cakes.

Absolutely Fabulous! They have a wonderful wine list and some great food. I took my friend there for his birthday and it just happened to be happy hour! WOO HOO! We got all of our fabulous wines half off as well as their delish goat cheese bruschetta. I also stopped by once for breakfast and just could not get enough of their Jonnycakes! YUMM!
