Perched right over the harbor, this branch of the popular national chain offers diners stunning views. Otherwise it resembles other Chart Houses, serving decent American food in the form of a bounteous salad bar and large portions of various grilled fresh fish and steaks. wonderful wonderful restaurant!
i made reservations at 7pm on 4th of july.
got there. it was not crowded at all. i got my table right away. and i did not even come early for my reservation. i actually got there right at 7pm and was seated right away. there is valet parking and what makes it more wonderful is that it is really really affordable.
compared to every other restaurant that was overcrowded and loud, chart house was amazingly warm, busy but not overly crowded and very intimate. i didnt feel as though i had to shout or strain my neck to hear the waiter.
for first timers going there. they were really wonderful. i had a waiter named jay who was a sweetheart. and what better is that it is located right on the porchdeck where you walk out onto through the back door and take a stroll.
most importantly the food was perfect, i order the prime rib chart house special. told the waiter how i wanted it cooked. between medium and medium rare and it came out perfect! .. wonderful. i suggest you all to get that your first time there.
i had the most wonderful time. and would certainly come back again.
