Tiny white lights twinkle in the ficus trees at this lovely winter garden setting, all that's left of the Bistro/Bistro Garden glamour-restaurant family that once ruled in Beverly Hills. You can count on good service and respectable renditions of such updated Continental dishes as steamed mussels marinière, ravioli with ricotta cheese, herb-roasted chicken, rack of lamb and filet mignon with black pepper-Cognac sauce. And the house chocolate soufflé warrants its fine reputation. For a picnic basket, the restaurant sells some items to go, including that legendary soufflé.
