Rialto Caffè Description:
The tables at this friendly, neighborhood spot are predictably covered with red-and-white checkered cloths and there are even those ubiquitous ’60s-style paper placemats bearing a map of Italy. Moretti beer umbrellas shade some tables and a covered patio is found behind the narrow, mirrored dining room. The menu, however, is a step above what you might expect. In addition to old-fashioned standards, you’ll find chicken-stuffed cannelloni in cream sauce, vegetable lasagna and a superb dish of scampi in a lightly creamed Champagne sauce.
