Café Reyes Description:
Café Reyes is the first restaurant travelers find as they roll into the tiny hamlet of Point Reyes Station after cruising northward along California's Highway One through the landscape that cradles the San Andreas Fault. The restaurant offers wood-fired, classic Neapolitan-style pizza, featuring fresh tomatoes and quality mozzarella. Wood and local maps warm up the inside atmosphere, but the choice tables are outside surrounded by hay bales and planters bursting with flowers. On sunny days, umbrella-shaded tables look out on an expansive view of pastures alive with cows and backed by the forested mountains that hold back the fog resting on the Pacific Ocean.
