Porter's Prime Steakhouse Description:
Tucked into a hotel near the Ontario Airport is one of the Inland Empire's best steakhouses. The room is clubby and sedate, in true steakhouse tradition, but a lighter color palette and soaring ceilings give the place a more casual ambience. All the beef is USDA Prime, and the execution is generally quite good (steaks are nicely seared, sealing in the juices). Side dishes---often the mark of a good steakhouse---are excellent, including Lyonnaise and au gratin potatoes, creamed spinach infused with a touch of Pernod, and creamed corn that could give Lawry's a run for its money. It may not measure up to Ruth's Chris or Morton's, but Porter's is solid---ideal for business meetings or even a special occasion.
