The unassuming El Morfi has fostered a loyal following through friendly service, low prices and good Argentine cooking. An open kitchen turns out first-rate empanadas, blood sausages and crispy mollejas (sweetbreads). Try the parrillada, a typical Argentine mixed-grill platter with pork chops, New York steak, short ribs and chicken. The chicken or beef Milanese and the Argentine pizza called fugazetta are also good. On weekends, the featured special is a heaping plate of authentic and very reasonably priced paella.
