Dumpling 10053 Description:
This smallish restaurant is consistently busy for one reason and one reason only: the steamed dumplings (jiaozi). The daring creations are what set this place apart from many of the other nondescript dumpling houses in L.A. The jiaozi filled with Pacific salmon, rock cod, and three treasures of pork, shrimp, and sea cucumbers are things you will not find anywhere else. And no one would even attempt to make these themselves because they are so difficult. If none of these jiaozi excites you too much, Dumpling 10053 also offers popular heart-warmers like Fried Pork Chop with Rice and Beef Noodle Soup.
