The narrow, inviting storefront dining room is wrapped in seagrass, with soothing sage green accents and a touch of contemporary art. We highly recommend that you just relax and surrender your authority to the sushi chef. You'll become the delighted recipient of a parade of uncomplicated yet impeccably fresh and artfully presented morsels from the sea: seared bonito, toro hand role, kanpachi and those coveted matsutake mushrooms. You'll also enjoy thinly-sliced sea bass sashimi and a few surprises like tender squid noodles topped with uni that hints of pristine waters. Content to be relatively unnoticed on the quiet south end of Beverly Drive, Sushi Sushi is a pleasant discovery indeed.
