Bonefish Grill Description:
Large, yet warmly lit and nicely decorated, this unit of Outback does a fine job of cooking fish and seafood, yet doesn't neglect the steak and chicken lovers. Families and dating couples all feel comfortable here. Whatever you decide on for dinner, share an order of the "Bang Bang Shrimp," although the corn chowder with lump crab is a worthy option as well. The ahi "sashimi," really more of a tataki as it's lightly seared, with wasabi and pickled ginger, is first-rate, and may be ordered as a main dish as well as an appetizer. Wood-grilled fish is the main dish to target, and the sea bass (available in two sizes) is a standout. The aji panca-rubbed rib-eye steak is a good meat selection, and among the sauces one may opt for the chimichurri, giving it an Argentine finish. You may choose one of several sauces to embellish it some, or go for a dish such as the mahi mahi piccata, with lemon-caper butter sauce. For dessert, consider the very good strawberry shortcake or one of the best Key lime pies we've seen anywhere. The wine list is decent, and offers a number of good selections by the glass.
