Inexpensive, nutritious and above all super-tasty, the eats at this nondescript Middle Eastern take-out joint have earned it longevity. Marinated, spit-roasted beef and lamb stuffed into a pita or served on a platter constitute the namesake, but they aren't the half of it; in fact, our favorite item by far is the hummus topped with fried ground lamb---tart and rich in equal measure.
