Chef/owner Michel Fort comes from the town of Bayonne, which is located in the Southwest of France. You can find traditional French dishes such as Escagots, Coquille Saint-Jaques, Filet aux deux poivres, Rack of lamb, Chateaubriand etc… Michel’s Basque heritage has also influenced his menu, excelling in dishes like Duck Confit and Pate Maison.
Due to its island location, Chez Michel also serves a variety of fresh local seafood, not to mention the lobster bisque.
