Mahek Restaurant is a real gem in Surrey. The restaurant's ambience is very comfortable with Indian style decorations that are not overdone. The lighting is dim but not too dark and there's a very interesting waterfall bar. The food is excellent, very traditional fused with North American ingredients and the pricing is pretty fair. We ordered the variety platter and Chicken Biryani which were both really good. The naan bread is some of the better, freshest naan I've had in BC - crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and very flavourful too. The service was really attentive as well, with our glasses continuously being filled and never having to look around for a server as they were always close by. If you like Indian food, Mahek Restaurant is one place you should really try.
